BlackBerry Evolve, Evolve X Launched in India: Host of Security Features But Expensive Price Tags
Optiemus Infracom, the company with the licensing rights to the BlackBerry smartphone brand in India, has released two new devices in the mid-range and premium mid-range segments.
The BlackBerry branding means a college price; the BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X will compete against smartphones in the flagship category despite middling hardware. The BlackBerry Evolve is priced at Rs 24,990, while the Evolve X has a price tag of Rs 34,990.Optiemus and BlackBerry have not announced availability dates yet, only both volition go on sale on Amazon, with the Evolve at end of August and Evolve X in September.
